Piclocity was founded in 2001 to provide image management, and retail website solutions for the professional photography industry. We also provide image management software to professional photography labs throughout the world.

The CMS (Content Management Systems) technology developed for our Preview Gallery Image Hosting/Shopping Cart has been imported, and improved upon to allow our users to maintian their Business Websites without any knowledge of HTML or website programming language.

We developed our new CMS Website System after numerous requests from our Preview Gallery Shopping Cart users, asking us for a "better" website system. They were tired of the limited "Templated" websites that were "in" years ago. They finally became aware that their sites were not appearing in Google searches because they sites were not built in HTML.

And finally, our users know that we develop our sites for THEIR client's ease of use, not their own "egos"!

Ease of use for both our Photographers/Artists, and then followed through to our client's customers is the key to our Photographer's Websites and our Preview Gallery Online Proofing and eCommerce System.

The web has evolved 10 fold from its inception in the early 90's. "Having" a website is no longer a sign of success. Having an "exotic" looking website with gimmicks, bells and whistles, is no longer "in".
